ELECTION CAMPAIGN LAUNCH IN DALBEATTIE

Jim Hume, MSP for the South of Scotland, and Nicol Stephen MSP, will launch their by election campaign for the Abbey Ward tomorrow (16th April 2008), incorporating a walkabout visit to some of the local shops.

Jim Hume said:-

“We have an excellent candidate in Keith Mycock and I know that he’ll be a worthy representative for the libdems in the South West of Scotland.

“Keith has a real chance of winning the Abbey Ward and I’m delighted to help in launching the campaign.”

Keith Mycock added:-

“I am delighted that Nicol and Jim have managed to find time to visit Dalbeattie to give my campaign a good start and hope it demonstrates the commitment the Liberal Democrats have to this beautiful area of Scotland.”
